Tuckpointing

Nothing can ruin the beauty of a masonry structure quicker than sloppy tuckpointing. We use only the recommended ASTM mortar specified for the material (brick/block/stone/terra cotta) we will be applying it to. 

 

Each joint should be ground out to a minimum depth of 3/4" and repointed in layers to ensure proper bonding. 

 

 We take the time to tint and test the mortar to ensure the closest color match possible. A follow up visit is always needed to clean the excess mortar residue off brick faces.
